Jonsered 670 champ 1999-02
« on: November 06, 2017, 01:06:24 AM »
First one of these saws that I've come across. Not the 670 champ, but a 670 champ with an ignition coil and an ignition module or igniter. Can someone explain to me the purpose of this application. Oh, by the way, the saw runs and cuts fantastic.

I'm not sure how old a fellar needs to veto remember the 'ol days. I'm a '63 model,I've seen numerous chainsaws, in 54 yrs. This 670 thru me a curve. Anyway, I've got three 630 & a 625 parts saws they didn't have dual coil. I believe the fire is stronger with dual application on this 670. Plus I polished the intake. Saw runs like a hot rod is supposed to. I'm very impressed.
