Source for toe board rollers?
« on: December 05, 2017, 04:12:30 PM »
Have found a ton of old posts about adding toe boards and rollers but haven't seen anyone mention a source. I can find rollers at Mcmaster Carr but the heaviest ones are rated at around 1000 pounds and are 3 1/2" in diameter. I'd think more capacity would be wanted.

What's everyone been using?

Shop made out of heavy wall pipe, solid bar, or even wood.  They don't need bearings, crude bushings with a shot of grease work well.

I have added toe rollers to 3 different mills. 3 inch heavy wall pipe, 1/2 inch plate on the ends, 3/4 inch hole to take 3/4 steel axle. Look in my gallery for pics and dimensions...
