Wow I forgot how shiny mine used to be! Congratulations  8) I will suggest that you may want to buy the stainless steel sleeves that go over the backstops, to prevent rust marks on your cants. :) Have fun!

Iím guessing your going to like that extra HP. I had my choice of the 26 gas or the ?35 hp diesel. I was already nervous about the cash I was was spending on the new machine and I didnít know anything about the diesel being offered, so I went with the gas. I really like your shed too, I might build something similar this summer.

If it makes you nervous,  it must be areally awesome purchase...what I have come to realize.  I don't know much about the diesels, but just looking at them at the sales center, I'd say they are heavy duty!

Nice looking mill. Them wides give me the envy. I could use that extra 6 inches every day it seems. That motor you chose is a good one. We used the same motor on my sons Peterson WPF10 after the 24 horse honda took the dirt nap. That mill cut several million feet over the years and wore out the mill. Its still running strong.

Congratulations on the new mill.  Running that mill will be your favorite activity. I know that my favorite outdoor activity is sawing logs on my LT40.  Which reminds me. I have to go set some teeth and sharpen some blades so I can get back outdoors.

Kinda generic off brand laser I found online,  think it came from Canada.  But it sure works sweet!

Yes it is "Green Light On The Southern" written by Norman Blake (Bluegrass Music).
(Its supposed to be "railroad line" not "yellow pine").      :)

While mine is just an LT28, I can see the value of that laser.  Mind sharing some more pics and how its mounted etc.  Could save some time and lumber over the course of a day sawing.

Laser looks awesome! I checked into it, but they said that even the green is questionable unless you're indoors (under roof) since may not see it in sunlight.

Question about shed: why did you do wood decking instead of on a slab? Curious how you made it for supporting all the weight/use.
I own my own small piece of the world on an 8 acre plot on the side of a mountain with walnut, hickory, ash and spruce.

That is awesome!

If I sawed under a shed instead of outside all of the time I would have one of those, but I would still love to see how bright that 20 mW unit is.  I would not feel comfortable spending $150 on a maybe.   ;D

It works good under my shed early in the morning and late in the evening. ..when your eyes aren't working so great.  But you can still see it midday when you trying to figure out what number you left off on.  I'm thinking about some drop cloths for a little more shade. It wouldn't be good out in the open, unless it was very cloudy :-\

I have a 50mW red on my mill right now(with too narrrow a fan angle). Im under a roof  and the sun shines in from the opposite side. Can see it always. Im going to get a 50mw green and put a spring loaded switch on it so the only time it lights is when I need it. It got me once in the right eye. Didnt feel good at all.

Is your laser 12v? The one I bought is plugs into 110v and runs off of 5v 1A. For some reason I thought it had a 12v adapter when I ordered it oops. So, I bought a 400 watt inverter as well as a momentary switch, so I donít forget and leave it on. Hopefully Iíll get a break in the weather tomorrow and hook it up.

Yep, it runs off 110, but I'm stationary and have electric service where it's parked.  I just ran a drop cord down the dust collection hose.
