Wow High Winds ...

We had some heavy winds christmas day in Nova Scotia.I was concerned about my camp where I keep my mill and other fun stuff so I drove there yesterday. I couldnt believe that everything was fine,the cover was even still on the mill.I went to move the mill head when I noticed that the wheels were off the trackI I cant belive it but a gust of wind shifted that 600 lb millhead. Luckily I was able to realign it and get it seated with the tractor. Must of been some serious wind!
 The other thing my son pointed out was that all the old wet sawdust was gone, yippee no shovelling,as it was getting deep!

We seem to get crazy winds also, as a boy I only remember high wind with thunder storms.

That is strong wind.  Cover may have acted as a sail.  Nice you don’t need to fool with the saw dust!

the peak gusts were 125 km/h. lots of damage around the city.
