Do I need to change the drive sproket with smaller bar?

I got a 394xp with a 33" bar, and also want to get a smaller bar as well, either a 24" or 28", would I need to change the drive sproket to run a smaller bar?

Generally, no.

You may be able to run a larger sprocket with the smaller bar, increase the chain speed a little and cut faster, but then changing bars will be a hassle. It should work fine with the sprocket thats on there now.
