I've been shopping for a chain sharpener, and it seems that the oregon 511A is the one everyone likes. I noticed on e-bay a listing for a Tecomec FL136. The seller is saying it is exactly like the oregon. Much cheaper, of course. Does anyone know about these claims, or about the tecomec at all. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Don

The Tecomec FL136 and the Oregon 511A are the same grinder. They offer good bang for the buck, much better than the cheaper grinders like "Nik".

I use the Tecomec 136 grinder with ABN grind wheels from Bailey's. The grinder is very reliable and the wheels give a very consistant grind.
