I have used many types of mauls for splitting. I've found the Fiskers the be the best thing around. It will out split any maul I've ever used, no matter what size the tree is.

Never heard of that in all my 54 years and have split a lot of wood. Going to try it. Anything to make the work easier. Heck, I'll try anything once. Sometimes twice if the first time didn't work and didn't leave to big of a bruise or stiches.
Give me a new saw chain and I can find you a rock in a heartbeat.

must be half a face cord in that trailer :) i didn't think the fiskar  was any good but then i got one will never go back to a maul again you can swing a fiskar all day and not get tired  swing an 8lb maul all day and your going to feel it

This axe is a newer style. A friend has one and loves it.
I don't think I could use it, but it does the job.
