Delimber

Does anyone use a ground based pull through delimber that you pull through with a skidder? I just picked up a danzco PT20L this morning. I am going to give it a try monday in some lob lolly i am cutting. any advice or tips on how they work would be great.

Until you posted this I had never heard of the company or their products, but it looks like a cool unit, kind of like those strippers made in Maine. Let us know how you make out with it.

this is the first i have ever heard of them too. It is a very well built unit. It weighs almost 4 ton. It was all my truck wanted to do to load it.

Woody I just posted a new thread on logger shortages. The issue of Timber Harvesting I was reading made note of quite a few mills coming online in the south VA northern NC area. Are you seeing good demand for softwoods again and gearing up to do more plantation work?
