Never owned one, but ran an old 664 with the Allison tranny in it (353 engine), it was a screamer! I liked the way it handled in the woods, it was very stable, and could drag a pretty good hitch.  I was skidding in mixed popple and hardwood, and was setting my own chockers, I was consistently dragging 25-30 cord a day no problem with that machine.  The auto tranny was pretty nice, it was the first auto I had ran in a rubber tire machine.  All in all, a nice skidder.
