That chipper is a monster.  Looks more like a tub grinder.  Very sad story.

   That is a tub grinder. Probably a file photo chosen by someone that doesn't know what a chipper is. This really is a tragedy. Just one moment of carelessness or a freak twist of a big limb and this can be the result. Brush chippers are one machine I have a very healthy respect for.

Me too, I will not rent a 14" one unless I can feed it with a Bobcat. So, I usually stick with the 6" ones.
