Mine runs good. but doesn't like to idle. and is a bit cold blooded (doesn't like the cold).

In the cold I was told to cover the fan intake on the front.
Because it brings in to much cold air.

The old 13hp wouldn't run 10° bands very well.
I have some but didn't use them much because of poor cuts in everything.
I grabbed some 10° and headed out to the mill today and put one on.
Nice cuts in some knotty pine
I couldn't believe it  :o
I'm still only going to buy 7° and 4° but I can use up the 10° I have.

Thanks for the up date. Does your mill use a clutch? If so, what make?

I now have a 25hp Kohler on my mill and it doesn't like the cold weather, so it doesn't run very well without covering part of the intake!
I use half of a Frisbee, just fasten it onto the grill with fine wire or zip ties!

Mr Fish
I didn't see any marking on the clutch.
It fits on the 1" keyed shaft and has a bolt that is 3/8 fine thread that holds the back plate on.
