Just putting this out there to see if anyone has interest.
By any means is this like the project last fall.
I want to get together mill some logs
Cherry, yellow birch or spalted maple.
I can show some folks what works for me selling on FB groups.
Have some food and maybe we can get one of the new kiln venders to come in and give up a presentation.
If we have it at my place someone would have to push the mill for me.
Just a thought

Now that is the way to kick it in the "butt log" and get things moving Jim.  Good for your idea and I look forward to watching you Glaciated Guys get together and having some fun.  :)

I would be interested in making a trip to meet and learn from some of you guys. I may not have any knowledge to share, but I have capable hands! I will stay tuned for a time and place.

If you have never gone to a gathering like this it's a lot of fun.
Last year it was great to put a face to the name.
The fellowship is awesome.
Newwoodguy needs to come and run the tractor and mill for me.

May might be a good time for me. How are the black flies  in your part of the world then?

Jim:
That is the date of the Wood-Mizer Maine open house.
You might want to attend that open house.

Not so good here either. Logger's Plus Expo in Bloomsburg, PA and on to see our daughter in Ohio.
I'll bring extra bug dope to share if a later date has a black fly problem.
