Title: Timber King 2000-2500
Post by: charles mann on October 10, 2018, 02:33:17 PM
Does anyone own a TK 2000, 2200 or 2500? I talked a TK guy the other day, inquiring about the drive engagement and was told they use an Ogura clutch. Im trying located a retailer for the clutch, but the Ogura site isn't easy to navigate, and evidently they don't provide retail store information and I am still waiting to hear back from them to locate a place to buy, but need to figure out which clutch i need for the power plant i have. I have nearly double the HP than the 2500 has, which means nearly double the tq, so i need to find a clutch that will hold up.

Thanks in advance

disregard any of the above questions regarding help from a TK owner. i eventually made contact with ogura, was sent a direction, but with the difficulties of trying to speak with someone that either has the clutch, or could get it. Im deciding ogura, regardless of how good the clutch, MIGHT be, its not worth the hassle of dealing with the company, or a retailer/dealer.
Going to go with a Pitts Ind clutch and hope i don't blow it up on my first engagement under a load.
