gas in tank was kinda milky color looked like water in tank so emptied it put new gas put new plug blew out cylinder but still wont start could the carb have ice or water in it still or fuel filter not sure what to do saw is usually reliable not really mechanically inclined but i know the basics
looking for a easy fix don t want to have to buy a new saw for nothing help please  thanks

Squirt a little mix into the carb throat and give it a go. If it fires you have a fuel problem. If no go, ignition or compression is probably the issue.

still not starting maybe time for anew one feels like lotss of compression  there is spark not that good at taking apart but will have to try  how do you test compression its always been hard to pull

Kevin

If you have compression then you would be looking for spark and fuel.
If the plug is dry you aren't getting fuel.
If the plug is wet, you are getting spark then it might be flooding.
