Grey Towers is located in Milford, Pike County, in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania. On a map it can be found near the junction of the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Grey Towers Festival of Wood features 'Goods from the Woods'

Grey Towers National Historic Site fourth annual Festival of Wood in Milford, Pa., is August 9-10. Regional crafters and artists will exhibit, sell and demonstrate their wooden crafts. Children's activities will include games and toys using wood and other craft activities. The Gifford Pinchot Audubon Society will host a bluebird box building activity. Lectures on alternative forest products; films about wood and forestry; educational exhibits and informational handouts will be ongoing throughout the weekend. Music with wood instruments will be provided each day, including children's sing-along, Celtic music, recorders, fiddles, African drumming and Native American music.  The Pike County Builders Association will exhibit and demonstrate Wood in Building. The Master Chain Saws of America will demonstrate chain saw carving three times each day. The Pennsylvania Woodmizer will demonstrate "From Logs to Lumber" throughout the weekend. Visitors can pick up free materials and learn from exhibitors who will be sharing information about such things as reintroducing the American chestnut, private forest landowner information, tree identification and Forest Service wood technology initiatives.
