Boiler Heat exchanger

How do I figure out how many plates I need in my heat exchanger for my boiler? I am changing my system over eventually to an infloor heating system. Half the house is currently heated through ducts from my furnace, which I have a rad in the plenum. The half house without ducts is having in floor heating put in, with the intention of doing the rest of the house at some point. the house totals only about 1100 sqft.

This is just a thought but I'd probably see how many btu your boiler puts out and size accordingly regardless of house size.

I would run the boiler water through the floor without the plate exchanger and a mixing valve to the manifold setup and let it go.
