A close call

I was cleaning up my shop today. I was using a Grizzly portable dust collector to pick up dust and slivers of wood. A big "sliver" got sucked into the transfer fan and stuck there. That happens all the time and I didn't worry about it. However, I started to smell wood burning. I shut it off and checked the bag. Somehow with all that dry dust and airflow, it didn't ignite. But you can bet that I'll be more cautious in the future.

Good thing you didn't go into the house at the end of the day, or run into town. That was a close call!
