I got one that looks like that but has the name Hunter Brothers on it...

That one must be a little different than our bandsaws, or the operator didnt know that our teeth are set in 3's one right one left and one straight.

Our log lot is mostly grassed over and sawdust pile is composting.  I fired up the mill earlier this week to see if there was any usable spalted wood in what was a standing dead hard maple.  It's the first time we've used it since last fall.

Mary has been too busy with her new Gehl skidsteer.

Really cool machine but I'm wondering why he didn't preserve the metal - paint or wax it?

That is a nice looking Gehl skidsteer she has. I could use that on my claiming back the Old Pasture project.

I just watched that video on YT last  night and wondered if anyone still used one. I watched another one of him rebuilding a handsaw tooth setter. Amazing stuff, I love the complicated mechanisms on these old machines.

I hope you'll post more often, I miss your wit and wisdom.
