I bought a neat little xl2 yesterday.  It is in really good shape and has the original plastic case thats in above average shape.  Is it worth anything?  I gave 40 bucks for the little bugger.

I would say its worth at least $40. I have had two of them and they were good little saws. bg

They sold brand new for around 90 bucks .That thing was Homelites answer to a mini Mac . It was one of those trim the apple  tree in the back yard type of saws .

If it runs that's wonderfull but most do not .They feel victum to setting on a shelf full of old gas .Often people give those things away ,fact the one I have was a freebie .

Yea it's probabley worth 40 bucks but keep it exercised and don't let the gas get nasty else it too become a shelf queen and it will probabley do you fine .
