You gotta try these! I was looking for a tasty way to cook some potatoes without using any type of oil butter or fat. These are just as good as french fries!

Turn your oven on to 450
First peel your firm potatoes. About 2.5 - 3 lbs is what I did.
Cut them up into about equal size pieces.
Put them in a pot with cold water. Bring to boil
Par boil for 4 minutes from the time the boiling starts
Remove from heat and drain well!
Return to pot (NO HEAT)
sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of flour.
Now put a lid on your pot on the par boiled taters and shake the bejabbers out of them.

You want to bung them up pretty good.
Spread single uncrowded layered on a foil lined cookie sheet. (Or right on the sheet, I like foil for ease of cleanup)
Season with Garlic, pepper and sea salt.
Put into your preheated oven for around 55 minutes. Watch for them to get golden brown. No turning needed.

They are Awesome! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I ate some of mine with ketchup and some without. Enjoy! No guilt for me tonight! :)

When I first saw the pic, I thought emmm......breaded Shrimp and Cocktail sauce.  :)

I loves taters. With your seasoning, I believe you could make a meal just on your Taters.

Looks good!  food6

Sounds YUMMY Jeff, now are ya shaking enough flour onto them?  2 table spoons of flour does not sound like much, bet you can use some good "Shore Lunch" or "Andy's" Breading/Seasoning mix too :) ;) food2  digin1

Sounds good Jeff, never done it with flour, but have used self rising cornmeal,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Jeff

I thought the flour seemed slim too, but its not. Actually the original recipe called for 2 tablespoons for 4 lbs of potatoes, so I was using more than required.

Nope. To much work to make enough for a crowd.

We cheat and buy the 5 lb bags of pre cut fries from the frozen food section at the grocery store. Skip the first 2 steps, spread out on a large cookie sheet and pop them in the oven till crisp. MMmmm good.
