Pine Log Staining

 How long can White Pine logs sit felled and bucked before they start to stain??Does anyone have a idea on this.I appreciate any help.

In this weather, not long. 2 to 3 weeks, especially if you have normal spring weather. Rain, sun, heat.

 Thanks Jeff thats exactly what I was figuring about 2-3 weeks,especially since as of late we are getting alot of rain,sun,and rather warm temps 70-80* lately.Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Here's a picture of some white pine I milled that's been on the ground for a year and a half.
I kinda like the stain :)
