Title: Folk movies, videos, etc.

Here are some videos that some of you might enjoy.  There are still people trying to record the histor of the Nation as it happens, not being able to depend upon the history books and Schools.  Unfortunately, you still have to take in even this stuff with a grain of salt since so many people make presentations to satisfy an agenda rather than just telling the story for the story's sake.

For the last couple of years, I've been enthused with Buck Dancing, Flat-footing, and Tap (http://www.folkstreams.net/film,121).  That, hand clapping, ham bone and whistling are some of the oldest of the musical instruments, along with the human voice and singing.   There is a rather lengthy video (stream) on Dance here that is quite enjoyable.  Dance is brought to our society from the UK, Europe and Africa and has become a major form of expression in all of our pioneer societies.
