Resawed some oak today for a new client. He had the log broken down into thick planks by a local circle mill, and then we resawed it into 3/8" to make conch pots. Three hours of near non stop milling on one band, often though a whack of slabs 14-16" wide, and the band was still sharp when I left.

Sharpening - setting bands has just become even more distasteful.

This fella was staring at me from the garage when I arrived. He was enormous......

Will that hoist lift that fire extinguisher with out any problems? bg
