Title: e2300 igniter replacement central boiler
Post by: icedflame on November 28, 2017, 11:19:11 AM
Don't see much about e2300 by central boiler much anymore but wondered if anyone has same problem..  Old natural gas igniter finally was cooked/. Central boiler offered upgrade to new igniter with little door for 150.00 with exchange of old one. Got that, tried out but discovered it was propane.  Got upgrade to natural gas for 60.00 which included regulater spring/cap(which I had already done in 2008), .125 orifice, and a gas pressure switch(don't really have a place on regulator to put it). Long story short, it will ignite as long as it is sparking but will not recognize flame and goes out.  Have checked ground to ignition module, Had 2 modules (dual fuel) so tried with other module, still the same. Tried changing pressure some, even tried partially blocking air intake on new igniter, still no luck. Central Boiler is not giving any input as to a fix or if any one else had same problems.  Trying to find if anyone on this forum has also changed to this new igniter and if they would have any suggestions. Thanks
