With these?

Eucalyptus.

34-36" diameter and 6"+ thick.

Since I'm new here I thought I'd ask what those with more experience would use them for.

Good pics Ron....pulled them right out of your pocket.  :)

I saw a few of these for weddings to set cakes on and flower arrangements on.

Also can be used for stool tops and TABLES.  ;D

Yes, those!

Looks like the bottom one will be a table then.  Still thinking about the top one.  The Boss (wife) made the call on the table.  She thought I was kidding when I said I had them.

Now the next question. Prep?

Wait for them to dry?  Smooth and seal now?

Definitely Heavy!

Oh, and what did I do wrong that the pictures didn't post?  This forum is set up a little different than a couple others I visit.  Is there a how to some place I haven't found?

You have one picture in your gallery. Uploaded on July 11.  That is good.

There is a primer on the Home page, near the bottom.

But now you only need to:
click on the line below that says "Click here to add Photos to post".
Then when the new window opens, go to the tab "My gallery" and click on it.
You will see your pic... click it, and it will enlarge.
Then SCROLL down below the pic and see the ways to put it in your post.. I use the "Insert image in Post" button.
Click the "preview" button to check that it is how you want it.
