028 wood boss runs fine for about 15 or 20 minutes and then starts stalling out, at high rpm but does not die. If you let it cool off it will run fine again for a while. It does not have points, maybe some of the electronics are overheating? Can anyone help me?

Check the fuel filter first.  As they begin to plug, the saw will starve for fuel.  If this is the fix, great.  If not, check the screen in the carburetor.  The screen is between the fuel pump diaphram and metering valve and will sometimes clog with fibers that get past the filter.  Still having trouble?  Try a new spark plug.  Not working right yet, time for a trip to the dealer.
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!

Check and clean the fuel tank vent.
Your allowed to have an excuse, you just cant use the same one twice.

On these older saws, the foam in the filter starts to break
up, and it collects in the screen inside the carb, it looks like
a wad of snuff.  Replace the filter, and thoroughly rebuild the
carb, and that will likely improve your saw's performance.

Also check the fuel and impulse lines for cracks.
