Was wondering if there are any other companies besides Jacksons Lumber Harvestor and Meadows building large blade portable sawmills, the kind were the log moves on a carriage?

I believe Hurdle still makes them, just outside of Memphis.

Jeff says Morbark of Winn Michigan is still making them.  They are very similar to Forestall and CMC mills.

Hurdle makes a mill but I wouldn't exactly call it portable.

I've been through the plant, Dad started it, the two boys went to school became educated, came back and enhanced the Dad's product with technology. Nice equipment if you want to go that big and those bucks.

I think Frickco builds portable mills from the old Frick plans.
