installing log siding

Hi guys, i will be installing log siding on my dorners in a few weeks and was wondering what to use to attach them to the walls?

What would you suggest? nails, screw, crazy glue???  ;D

in a few weeks? is that what we are working on when I come to visit.

i heard a real big rumour ya'll will be jumping the train in Miramichi...that is awsome!!! 8

There is a possibility that I/we/us will be working on it but a small possibility maybe not since the family will be there might just take it easy for a few days....since we will be working on the roof....wouldn't want something to fall off and hit someone!!! ;)

BUT...i will also have my flooring for both the main floor and the lofts on hand....are you any good at install t&g 2x6  ;D

do you have your exact dates yet?

Also, if you plan/would like to get a fishing license...give me a shout before you arrive, i'll pick it up for you to make sure the natural ressource office is open!

   I use 3 inch screws.  About 1 inch up from the bottom and at a slight up angle.
