Blade guide motor trips the breaker, any ideas?  Worn brushes maybe?

Southside

More likely a dead short somewhere along the line. Under hook the motor and see if it still trips, then you will have a starting point.

Is the blade guide arm jammed?
YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Blade guide will move normally for a few times before the breaker trips. Thanks for the replys, I'll disassemble when the weather cools.
