I would say I picked up a log last Thursday but, I more like slid the 6400 pound thing onto my trailer. Pushed it off home and said too heavy must cut but no orders, 18 foot long oak 25 inches at 18 feet. On the message an order for 1x6x8 horse fence. I cut that 18 foot oak into two 9 foot logs. Contest, guess how many 1x6x8 I got out of the two pieces and I send you something. Ifin one of ya guesses right in the first 5 guesses I buy you a peavey in aluminum from our board friend.

Is this a trick question ? You said you cut the logs to 9' so you ended up with 1x6x9 making your total 1x6x8 count at zero/0.

rhodemont is the closest, I got 100 pieces of 1x6x9 and another 24 pieces of smaller than 6 inch width. I was also pretty good looking wood and sure made the fence order go quick.

joe the 2 logs were 9 or so but the product is 1x6 oak horse fence 8 foot long. I don't charge them for any extra length which allows them a little leeway with the post placement. This fence company is one of my longest running customers so even thought I used logs that were a little longer than 8 they are priced as 8 foot product so, exactly 100.
