Quick thank you note.  Thanks to members responses, I am making some headway with getting my 550 into shape bit by bit.  The website www.roadranger.com  was great for the axle assemblies etc. 

The tire issue I initially asked about turned out to be nothing more sinister than low air,, tires are OK and the one has now reseated it's bead out the edge of the rim where it belongs!

Had to add 10 litres to get my front diff back up to full, so the next challenge is to determine the cause of fluid leaking from the axle seal or wherever.  Front right wheel.  I will try retorquing the bearing, and if that doesn't work, then I imagine seals are the next thing to pursue.
