My Dad's been wanting a chair since spring....any chair....he didn't care.
He ask me this morning if I'd make him one before I go to the PR.

So....1....20 inch bar and skip tooth chain
        1....tape measure
        1....log crayon
        1....crow bar
        3....tanks of chainsaw fuel
        1....tank of bar oil
        1....sanding disk
        4....bottles of drinking water
        1....back hoe
        1....Red Oak Log
........and 2 hours later.....BAM......Log Chair!

Note: The groove in the back of the chair allows the back hoe bucket to slide in and pick the chair right up.

Now you need to build him a sidecar to go on it so that he can rest his Goat.

Seriously, doing something that brings your Dad pleasure is a very good thing.  I am happy for both of you.   smiley_thumbsup smiley_thumbsup

Your a good goat son, but you'd be a better son if you built a recliner.  ;D

You live in S.C. and you did not put a hole in the back for an umbrella for summer shade.
I see a revision coming.

That thing looks big once you see someone sitting in it, no wonder you need the forks to move it, I like it,  don't reckon a wind storm is going to blow that one over,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,
