Hi all. It has been years since I've posted to the forum. Been lurking though! I need to change the hydraulic oil in my '87 Lt 40 and was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best to use. Thanks in advance, and what a great forum!!

Better to be safe than sorry. Call Woodmizer.
With your Customer number you give them they will have your mill in their records and
tell you exactly what oil to put in it.

Good idea to call ,but I would bet it is automatic transmission fluid. I have a 93 LT40HD and thats all I use on everything on the mill.

I was told by Wood-Mizer, quite a few years back that when I needed to top-off my hydraulic system, to use Dextron III ATF!
