ky/ten border central Ky,  logging here 2nd only to care givers.  so a handy market.

I want to get rid of some our walnut tree's.  Maybe 6 or so, possibly 12.
What is the general rule of thumb on minimum size,  length an diameter.
AM I likely to finder a buyer too deal with such a small amount.
timing here isn't an issue on waiting months to sell or go asap.

more question later if its worth doing (retired an labor not much of an issue)

If walnut over 18" diameter and clear logs, you might consider bidding those out. Would be nice to know average Diameter of trees you are speaking of. Whatever, do not cut them for firewood just yet! :o

Well that is why IM posting the  question,  IM cutting my firewood now.   I saw a fellow the other day with a trailer that had 5/7 walnut logs,  that got me to thinking,  the trees we have  make such a mess at  mowing time,.....so that's  why I posted the question   most all of these a minimum of 20 plus in diameter at 10/12 foot up easily without putting a tape on them......so I suppose I need to go see a yard man and find  out about price  and lengths I need
