At first I thought it was a sycamore log, until the last pic I realized that the white was snow.  We always love pics!  Thanks!
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

I never had to much trouble with frozen logs, Now half frozen logs, they can be an issue.

Nice log, what is the saw? Also for Alberta in January it did not look like there was much snow on the ground.
Life is too short or my list is too long, not sure which. Dec 2014

The saw is a nichols made in Edmonton Alberta, dont know what year though???? we have had over 2 feet of snow so far. Its been a very cold winter so far and I havnt been doing much sawing

Good size log. I will be sawing some hemlock soon. It should be good and froze by than. I have sawed hemlock before in the winter,had no problems at all.

Yep, got a few 3x12s out of that fella. A log turner would of been nice...lol

Nice shed design!  I like the idea of a slot for inserting the logs.  Do you have a live deck?
