If you can still get a 372 or 440 I would just walk on by the 575. I have or have had all of these saws and the 575 is un-inspiring, probably because of it`s weight relative to the other saws mentioned.

The expected demise of the 372 is a US EPA thing which shouldn`t affect other countries, it will probably be available somewhere for a long time to come.

If you can still get them buy the 372 from Baileys with the 75cc motor in it but it only comes in full wrap handle I think,

2171 Jonsered is the same as a 372

minesmoria,

I often contemplate buying another one in case I run over mine or something. One day they will be hard to get and the price will reflect that. It's easily my favorite saw. Get one. You need it. ;)
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

I got the price  for the 365 with 28" bar 820$ cdn and 570 with 28" bar is 844$

The 570  has one more hp for only 24 dollars more and can take  up to 32" bar.

The 570 also has a wider power band. The 365 is a great saw but needs to be on the pin, speed drops off so does power. The 570 keeps pulling under load. Sweet.

I think 570 is what i will get will  either 28" or 32"  bar just cutting mostly  mountain hemlock and some sprue from the log sort here.

If your going to be running a 28in or 32in bar on a regular basis, I would look to a 385 / 390 or 395 , but that is just me.  8)

That's what I did (372xpg), even though I didn't really need it.. 8) 8)

The last thing I heard was that they all will be gone here next year, but Russ may well be right in the Global perspective........

I have a 570 which is ok when it runs.  I bought it to take the place of 365, thinking that it would also be a little more powerful.  Dealer keeps taking it back for repair on warranty after 15 months, so it's not costing me directly out of pocket, but it's academic.  I can't rely on it when I'm 250 yards from the landing in knee to thigh deep snow so it is pretty much useless to me.  Maybe I just got a lemon.  I went and bought a 385 to try instead.  Great saw and for my 2 cents more in the power class you want for the use you describe.  Now I'm back to the old 365 for smaller diameter stands and the 385 for larger diameter stands.  There is a 372 in my future!
440B skidder, JD350 dozer, Husqvarnas from 335 to 394. All spruced up

Definately not - and quite a bit more weight than both the 365 and 372xp - forget that one.    ;)
