Here's one of the things I have been working on.

It's Redwood, Maple and Cherry.

It's a book shelf for Jill's niece for her graduation   ;D

That looks wonderful!!!! I always wondered, how do you smooth and finish the natural edge areas? What finish did you use?
LT10G10, Stihl 038 Magnum, many woodworking tools. Currently a farm service applicator, trying to find time to saw!

I sandblast the areas that you just can't sand by hand.

I use Chrystalac water based floor finish in satin.

Looks good and not too shiny

Well that's good, if she ever has kids they can climb it and not hurt the finish.

Good to see I'm not the only one slaving to make his fortune in the hot weather. :D

Looks very nice from this angle. You fellas metal working have improvised them sand blasters for other such needs I see.  ;D

Gary, if them future kids start climbing it, just fasten everything down, including the kids.  ;D
