Been busy busy busy.
I started a job last week. The customer builds cradles for windmill blades.
He needs 8x12x8' and 2x12x8'
Each unit consists of one 8x12 and four 2x12. He needs 500 units. He says he is splitting the job between several Mills cause he needs it ASAP.
I'm waiting on logs right now. I cut 11 units the other day and ran out of big enough logs.

It sure does make a lot of side lumber

Here's the last of the cradle material on it's way out this morning.

And a new addition. I wanted something with more speed and agility.

And new inventory for my next beam job.

The edger has been getting a work out.

I brought in some reinforcements.....to keep me out of the mud. Two spots were getting exceptionally bad.

And made custom ramps to get on them.
It made the machine grunt a bit without them.

I've been checking in periodically but haven't had time to post much.
I have been working on moving my business to a much better location for the last three years.

I just got everything moved last week and am in the process of working out all the flaws in the system.
Here's a video. It's a bit like watching paint dry though :D

Nice! Please take some video in the other direction - I'd be interested to see what is happening to the slabs and boards coming off the conveyors. Are they going into an edger, auto stacker or staging area?
