hi everyone,

I'm a newbie so forgive me if this topic is mentioned elsewhere. I did search and found some threads but nothing that answers my question. We need to replace the 2 hydraulic steering cycling era in a Garret 21 skidder. Since Don Garrett died, their parts number seems not being answered/responded to. Are there any third parties that make these? Who do you recommend. @tantoy it seems you have one of these. Where do you get parts/maintenance. Greetings from WA, the home of Garrett (we're not far from Enumclaw) Thanks. Cheers.

Take them to a hydraulic repair/machine shop and have them fixed.

Welcome backyard, post some pictures of your machine if you can. My 20 has one steering cylinder like the 10 and 15s had. My cylinder was in good condition it just needed seals. I took the cylinder apart and went to Epic industrial and they gave me the parts needed and I installed and assembled myself. You could just drop them off and they would turnkey them also. My blade cylinders were bent up and bore pitted so bad that I just bought new ones from surplus supply center.
