I have a 241cm and 261cm and an electric grinder.  Use a 1/8 stone wheel for the 241  and 3 /16 cbn on the 261.  I get the chain to cut better on the 241.   The cbn has 40/50 written on it and i am assuming that is the grit.
The cbn leaves scratches on the sharpened cutter.  I purchased the cbn at the logging congress last year from one of the supply dealers. Any advice?

I haven't had any problem with either a stone or cbn wheel making chains cut.  Make sure your getting some hook on the side plate of the cutter and that the rakers aren't too high. Steve
