NH Farm and Forest Expo
« on: February 08, 2005, 08:37:39 PM »
This past weekend was the NH Farm and Forest Expo in Manchester, NH.  Last year this was the debut show for Logrite Tools.  It is hard to believe it has already been a year.

This year Logrite was represented by Brownfield Equipment of Eaton, NH.  Also, in the booth was Carl Neutzel from Whitehall, MD.

I had the pleasure of meeting RSteiner, a FF member who decided to buy a new Logrite Peavey for himself.

This show is one of my favorites and I plan to attend next year too!

It's been several years since I went to that but it was always enjoyable.
Back in the mid-'80s, Steve Taylor (the commissioner of ag for NH) invited us to play music there.  That was quite a thrill.
I've always been interested in watching the grafting demonstrations.  I do grafting myself but have never mastered anything but the cleft grafting method.  And even then, there's no guarantee it will live.
But I do have about 40 trees here that I have grafted since 1987.
Grandchildren, Bluegrass music, old tractors, trees and sawmills.  It don't get no better'n that!
