I'd say Timber 2005.  That one is being sponsored by Penn State and is during the Ag Progress Days.  There will be other sawmill eshibits there.  They only have them once every other year in PA, and at the last one there were NO swingers.  Time to get represented.  Its also a week after the shootout in Youngstown.

The Woodsman competition seems to have a heavier emphasis on chainsaw carving.  It might also be a nice one to try your wares.

The Barkpeeler convention has no mills (at least none last year).  It is more a historic show.

The PA Timber Show is always good. It's moved around the state some, and is at a great location this year in Rock Springs.  Ron got a little mixed up when he said that it is during Ag Progress Days. It's actually at the Ag Progress Days facility, just two months earlier. Ag Progress Days is in mid-August, and is always a good show. There's lots of sawmills at Ag Progress Days.

I've been to the show at Cherry Springs also, but it's been a while, twenty-five years or so. It's located in beautiful country with a nice state park to camp in.

You're right.  Ag Progresss days are from Aug 16-18.  I've never been to that event, but its a pretty big one.
