Record brown trout caught in Manistee

I may have to fish extra hard this winter to bring back the record to Arkansas...where it belongs. ;D

That's a whopper!

I hope the fish is aged by its otolith, if anyone hears age of fish please post it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was 20 plus years old.

This sorta stuff fascinates me. :D

First trout that I remember catching was a Brown.  I think it was 6-7 inches.
Built my own band mill with the help of Forestry Forum.

ARKANSAWYER

It will have to beat the Arkansas record by several more ounces to top it.  For a record to beat another there are weights it has to clear to be the champion.  It is like the big bass caught in Japan.  It was larger but lacked a few oz to be the World Record.   I hope the check the belly for rocks.    ;D
