The trouble I have is i cant get a replacement igniton coil.This was guaranteed for a lifetime, I'm still alive but the saw is without a life spark. Has any body got or had this issue and how did it get resolved, technically or legally .I cant believe I'm the only one. Commentary very much appreciated.Has any body got a functioning coil they could sell me. cheers john :( :P :-[ :'(!

I know a few STIHL dealers on another site who may honor the coil warranty.
This is not the 1st STIHL coil warranty replacement I've heard of.
IIRC, the 024/026 has a lifetime warranty coil as well.

There are at least half a dozen coils and flywheels allocated to 064 depending on when made.  You will need to remove the flywheel and post the part number on the back for me to check on which one you have.
