husky 346xp or j-red 2153 ?

thinking about buying a new saw, narrowed it down to these two saws, i know there basicly the same, i mainly want to know if the j-red comes with the cat muffler and or, is this saw e-tech?, any help would be great, thanks :

Same saws other than the plastic and handlebar angle. J-red is straight, Husky angled.

The red & black looks better too.  :D

Same saws as mentioned above, except 2153 will have catalytic muffler and only the e-tech 346 did with green fuel cap. Most and every new 346 has been non epa muffler types  I have had ( 2 of them) and seen local.

does the j-red with cat run as good as either of the 346's (e-tech or non e-tech)?

e-tech 346 and  2153 should be the same. I have only read the non epa 346 runs better. Never had both in my hands at same time to compare, only non epa ones. Matter fact never seen or run a epa stuffed muffler model.
To fix just put the good non epa muffler on and retune. JMO. Better yet muffler mod epa to bypass the crap  ;)  and retune.
