Title: Predictive typing.
Post by: Dave Shepard on February 10, 2018, 02:20:21 PM
I've noticed, pretty much internet - wide, the prevalence of certain words being substituted for the correct word by cell phone's predictive typing. This being replaced by thus, for example, or misspelled words that the phone has "learned". I discovered yesterday, by accident, that you can remove learned words from the phones vocabulary by long pressing on the word when it shows up in the suggested word box above the keyboard. Thought this might help reduce the frustration level of other cell phone users out there. My Samsung is absolutely horrible on a good day. On a bad day it's infuriating.

I don't think 4x4 had this issue with his phone. I think he does it naturally.  :D

My phone often leaves me in the feeble position.

Jeff,

Eye like that description. It does a reel good job of telling folks about sum people who want too sound moore educated than they reely are. Eye never realized how hard the English language was two understand till wee got foreign exchange students two come stay with us. Then aye found out how mini of are words sounded thee same butt were spelled different and reely had different meanings. Ewe can't just say lots of English words and expect the here er to know watt it means. He has two sea it in righting to no witch word and meaning is write.
