Started doing a little calling the last couple of months.

This is the 3rd one I've killed out of 5 stands. Was skunked twice and had pairs come in twice.
Anybody else doing any calling?
Just cause your head's pointed, don't mean you are sharp.

Nice one. What gun are you shooting?
south central Wisconsin

Savage, 110 in .204 Ruger. Sweet shooting little round.

Started about a year ago. I'ved had them come in but never got one.
Use an electric caller, a turkey feather on a string (decoy).
Usually hunt in pairs: one shotgun, one rifle.
Killed 3 in about a dozen outings everyone else got the kill.

Was coming out of the woods last night, stopped to see if anything was in the green field. Looked to the north end of the field, saw something which turned out to be a yote. Well, I stopped and watched and here comes yote #2, watched it a little and here comes yote #3. Got down on one knee and did a little lip squeaking and here they came, after about 25 yards they stopped. About this time my buddy called on the walkie-talkie, told him what was going on (i'm in the open all this time). Steadied on #3 dropped the "hammer" on the ole 270 and then their was 2. I think I was almost as surprised as it was, it being over 100yds off hand. 8) 8) 8)
