Title: poplar bark siding

im iterested in harvesting some yellow poplar on my farm.i was wanting to harvest the bark for siding. looking for all the info i can get.

I don't believe it'll hold up to the weather very well!   :o

Plus, I've looked at some websites that are saying 50+ years.  I'm not taking credit for finding these.  They were given to me.  I was really surprised.
