TRANSPLANT ASPEN AND BIRCH

I have access to trees on a lake lot up in northern Minnesota around the Ely area. i live in NE Iowa and would love to bring some Birch and Aspen back and plant them in the back yard by a creek. i am wondering if it is legal to do so. When we camp outside of Iowa we are not alowed to bring fire wood, and I was wondering if there are restrictions for live trees.
