I am wondering how to tell if i have cherry trees woth selling to a local mill. I have proprty in North Central Pa. I was also looking for a ball park on what they would be worth.

Call a good private consulting forester. He/she can tell you everything you need to know.

You can also call the PA Dept of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, Service Foresters.  Their advice is free and could be a good first step before ultimately following bill m's excellent advice.  Get a local expert in your corner before deciding to let anybody cut anything.
